    Perfect for anyone getting into running—or getting back after a break. This walk-jog progression builds endurance safely with coaching on pacing, posture, and breathing. You’ll start slow, stay supported, and finish strong.

    Great for runners who feel stuck, sore, or inconsistent. We assess your gait and form, then guide you through drills that reduce compensation and help you move more efficiently.

  • Endurance Builder

    Designed for intermediate runners who want more structure in their distance work. We rotate tempo runs, long efforts, and pacing intervals—with support to prevent burnout or overload.

  • As a university student I have a very irregular schedule, which made it difficult to stick to a regular training plan on my own. Rob’s run clinics have helped me immensely. With a schedule set out well in advance, it has been much easier to plan ahead and ensure that I make time to get my runs in. Also, Rob takes care of the training plan, which means that I never have to worry about what distance or pace I should be running at; all I need to do is show up and run, and the group helps to keep me accountable.This is just placeholder text.     Hi, I’m Rob Appleton—kinesiologist and personal trainer with over 15 years helping runners move better and stay injury-free.

    Most people think running is just about going faster or farther. But if your movement patterns are off—tight hips, poor footstrike, slouched posture—you’ll end up frustrated or sidelined.

    That’s where I come in.

    At our clinics, I combine movement assessments, strength coaching, and real-world experience to help you train smarter. Whether you’re preparing for a 5K, getting back into fitness after injury, or just want to enjoy running without pain, I’m here to help you move with confidence.

    Running changed the trajectory of my life. Growing up, I struggled with learning challenges that made school feel overwhelming. But running gave me something steady I could count on—a sense of clarity, accomplishment, and momentum that carried me forward. It’s one reason I believe so deeply in its power to build not just fitness, but self-trust. Our Edmonton running clinics do just that.
