Movement Assessments That Lead to Real, Lasting Results
Kinesiologist in Edmonton
We use kinesiology to uncover what’s really limiting your movement. Whether you’re in pain, stuck in a plateau, orfrustrated with mobility or stability — we assess, correct, and coach you toward long-term progress and strength.

Too Many People Are Moving with the Wrong Map
- Most people are doing “fitness” on top of dysfunction—building strength over imbalance or pain.
- When results stall, clients blame themselves. But often, the real issue is undiagnosed movement breakdown.
- Kinesiology reveals what your body’s trying to tell you—so you can finally make progress that sticks.

Your Movement, Finally Understood
how kinesiology created real change
Most people train around their issues. We identify them. Our assessments reveal what’s really causing your pain or performance limits—then build a smarter strategy to correct it, strengthen it, and sustain it. Because when your body moves well, everything else works better too.

Why Kinesiology Changed Everything for Me
Hi, I’m Rob Appleton—a registered kinesiologist and personal trainer with over 15 years helping people move better, hurt less, and train smarter.
I started my journey at the University of Lethbridge Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education, where I earned my BSc in Kinesiology. What I learned there shaped how I work today: movement isn’t just exercise—it’s the foundation for health, performance, and long-term pain prevention.
Most people try to push through pain or plateau by working harder. But when your movement patterns are off, more effort leads to more setbacks. That’s why kinesiology matters—it helps us understand the why behind your pain or fatigue and fix it at the root.
At Apex, I use movement assessments, biomechanics, and individualized coaching to build plans that actually work—for real bodies, with real-life demands. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress that lasts.
Let’s get your body moving the way it was built to.
